Seminar/Support Group Calendar

Continued education and support are vital to successful long-term, healthy weight loss. These meetings are a valuable resource for obesity patients or those interested in seeking treatment.

Obesity Surgery Seminar (public welcome)
Discussion of risks, benefits, and lifestyle requirements of laparoscopic gastric bypass and Lap-Band® surgery. Presentation of comprehensive bariatric surgery program. Program Director/RN on hand to answer all questions on surgery, program and insurance coverage.

Support Group (public welcome)
Meeting focus is for patients less than one year out from surgery and guests interested in learning about Gastric Bypass and Lap-Band Surgery. Usually meets on the first Tuesday of the month.  Check this page for updates.  Each group has its own meeting to meet the individual and different needs of Gastric Bypass patients and Lap-Band patients.
